Moderno follows key moments in the lives of two characters, separated by their different worlds, but united in the challenges they face. Laura, a young Mexican woman living in the countryside, and Max, a wealthy American man living in a modern city. The film weaves together their contrasting lives and shows us that through death our world is being reborn.
